Cornerstone Community Church Of Auburn

11111 Dry Creek Road
530-823-0141

In 1966, a group of friends began meeting in homes for Bible study and prayer. As the church grew, we began renting facilities and enjoying the preaching of many different guest pastors. In the early 1970s we associated with the Evangelical Free Church of America, called a full-time pastor, and eventually purchased our own property. Cornerstone has a rich heritage of godly families, some of whom still worship with us every week.

In the last few years, Cornerstone has developed a renewed passion for bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Auburn in fresh, relevant ways. We are a place where normal people can come-as-you-are and find a community of friends to connect with. We are a place that promotes the Greatest Commandment - to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength - and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We are very excited about what God is doing here as we welcome new faces here nearly every week!

The ministry and relationships at Cornerstone depend entirely on the Word of God. As a result, you will discover clear, in-depth Bible teaching for every age that is aimed at connecting the Gospel with real life. You will also find a refreshing and joy-filled "community of grace" where people genuinely reach out in love to each other and the world.

Whatever your background, you will be refreshed by the Word of God and you will find good friends to connect with. We're looking forward to meeting you!

In January of 2005, the leadership of Cornerstone developed The Josiah Project, essentially a strategic plan for the future of our church. In the Josiah Project, we are asking God to lead and empower our ministry so that we are more effective in the following four areas: Discovering God's Word, Sharing the Good News, Confronting Sin, and Worshipping God. Please contact the church office to request a free copy of the Josiah Project brochure (revised Jan. 2006).
