Visionary in both plan and action, Coronado Middle School will embrace families, volunteers, and business partners to support its educational programs in a well-maintained, technologically rich facility. Working together with all stakeholders, Coronado Middle School will provide a caring, compassionate learning community that nurtures and supports exemplary education for every student.

Coronado Middle School’s attention to rigorous standards, accountability, and service will result in success for every student. Our students, as participants in a global informational society, will be in the forefront of technology. They will embrace diversity and innovation and be proactive in creating collaborative learning experiences. Opening the window to the world, teachers will motivate students to gain knowledge in mathematics, science, and language arts. With dedicated, enthusiastic, expert teachers demonstrating a love for learning, our students will begin a journey using the arts and physical activities to encourage their multiple intelligences and learning styles. Utilizing a strong, research and standards-based curriculum, students will be empowered with the experiences, resources, and information they need to be successful.

The glue that binds the Coronado Middle School community together is integrity. Our character development program will be pervasive and will help students experience the connection between caring about others and living a more fulfilling and successful life. Students will be nurtured, respected, celebrated, and loved. Trusting, respectful relationships will enable teachers, parents, and students to work collaboratively. Coronado Middle School’s active PTO and other supportive organizations will be an integral part of the Coronado Middle School team in fostering student learning and healthy development and in educating the whole child.
