The Festival of the Arts is an annual free artistic event which promotes Corpus Christi as a cultural center, showcases its diversity of artistic expression, and enhances the quality of life for citizens and visitors alike. This Coastal Bend community event provides artistic and cultural activities that encourage economic development and tourism for Corpus Christi.

The annual event in 2014 will be hosted in the sea, entertainment and arts area or S.E.A. District of the beautiful Corpus Christi Bayfront.  Corpus Christi Festival of the Arts is held on the last weekend of March.(exception is Easter weekend) 

The Festival of the Arts also promotes the Corpus Christi's Public Art Collection with its Art Tour of the bayfront, s.e.a. district, historical downtown and uptown areas of Corpus Christi.

In addition to the annual Festival of the Arts event, informative and educational workshops and programs are held throughout the year.

The Festival of the Arts office is in the historical Merriman Bobys House in Heritage Park. The location features an Art Gallery and Artist Studios and Gift shop.
