Vision:

Covenant Church believes that Christ has entrusted us with the privilege of fulfilling His "Great Commission" in Matthew 28: 18-20. Our vision is to answer His call by:

Mobilizing Covenant Church members to go to the nations

Training effective mission teams

Building consistent prayer support

Developing a servant's heart in participants

Raising awareness in Covenant Church of other cultures and our responsibility to facilitate the spread of evangelism

Inspiring Covenant Church members to give generously to mission endeavors and to missionaries

Covenant Church History:

Covenant Church was founded in 1976 by Pastors Mike and Kathy Hayes. With only a 2-year old daughter and a vision, Pastors Mike & Kathy came to the Dallas area to build a team and to raise a church family. Since 1976, Covenant Church has grown to almost 10,000 members and is a standard bearer for those who would dream.
Covenant Church was originally named "Carrollton Pentecostal Church". The church first met at an old bank building in downtown Carrollton, TX. At the end of 1979, the name of the church was changed to "Faithworld Family Worship Centre". The Lord blessed the church with the opportunity to purchase its own property on Denton Drive, and a new worship center building was constructed.

In November 1980, the church moved into its new building on Denton Drive.

In 1992, the church had grown to over 1,000 members, and God was adding to it weekly. Recognizing that God has always dealt with His people through covenants, the church was then renamed from "Faithworld" to "Covenant Church." God sovereignly provided the opportunity for Covenant Church to purchase 20 acres of land on Trinity Mills Rd, and construction began on a new worship facility in the heart of Carrollton.

On August 13, 1995, Covenant Church moved into its beautiful new building at 2644 E. Trinity Mills Rd in Carrollton. The congregation has now grown to almost 10,000 members.

In 2003, Covenant Church embarked on a divinely-inspired strategy of "One Church, Many Locations". The first Covenant Church remote campus location was opened in Cross Roads/Denton in 2004 in a beautifully renovated 75-year old church building on 1.5 acres. Covenant Church prepared for the future growth of the ministry in the Cross Roads/Denton area by purchasing 60 acres of land on Highway 377 just south of Aubrey, TX.

In 2005, the second Covenant Church remote campus location was established in Sherman, Texas. God sovereignly provided church property and buildings in a growing area of Sherman, and Covenant Church responded to the call to be salt and light in the city of Sherman for the Kingdom of God.

The mission and mandate of Covenant Church to increase the Kingdom of God in the earth are being accomplished!
