Covenant Church exists to glorify God as we build a community of God-exalting, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled people.

Values:

Life-giving worship 

We want our lives to be described as God-exalting. We urge one another to daily worship God by all we do. We especially value gathering for corporate worship in which we experience God’s life-giving presence, prayers for one another, and placing ourselves under the life-giving preaching and teaching of God’s Word. 

The Life-giving Gospel/Word of God 

What God has done for us in Jesus Christ is wonderful! We desire to treasure Jesus Christ and all that He treasures. The Gospel – God’s Word – directs our individual lives and all we do as a church. 

Life-giving Holy Spirit empowerment 

We desire to be led by the Holy Spirit in all we do. It is by His work in our lives that we know God. We want His empowering presence in our daily lives and church gatherings. 

Life-giving relationships 

The Christian life is lived in relationship with others. We want to glorify God by genuinely loving one another in authentic and practical ways. Life-giving relationships involve us with people who not only share our interests but who are of different generations, ethnicity, and social backgrounds.  

Life-giving ministry 

We pursue ways and opportunities to spread God’s fame to people everywhere – our neighborhoods, our nation, and the nations of the world. We desire to spread God’s fame through methods that are God-exalting, Christ-centered, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. 

Life-giving witness

We desire that our individual lives speak to others of Jesus Christ.  As we live God-exalting, Christ-centered, and Spirit-filled lives, we believe that we can influence others around us in life-giving ways. We seek to display personal biblical integrity, ongoing spiritual growth, biblical relationship principles, and talk with those who want to hear about Jesus Christ.
