Vision

Academic Priorities: The district emphasizes that "student success is our top priority." To this end we emphasize the following expectations:

Consistent & measurable academic progress for every student in core subjects and high district performance on the Ohio Report Card as a result of:

High expectations and high accountability for students, teachers, and administrators

Class sizes conducive to a quality education

Intervention and tutoring to assist every student in need of help

Consistent academic programs grades K through 12

Ongoing communication with parents regarding academic needs and progress of their children

Sufficient administrative support to ensure quality instruction and accountability

Increased access to all-day kindergarten and other programs for all students regardless of ability or background

Sufficient selection of courses and educational options to meet the job, career, and post-secondary aspirations of each students regardless of ability or background

Intervention and support for "at-risk" students who do not qualify for special education programs.
