About Us

Crockett Care Food Pantry is a non-profit organization serving food to those facing financial hardships in Crockett County, Tennessee for over 17 years. We recieve NO government funding of any kind and are proud to be supported by the good churches, businesses, schools, and people of Crockett County. The backbone of the Pantry is definately the churches of Crockett making us an inter-denominational, solitary unit in the effort to fight hunger in a county with a high poverty rate.

The Food Pantry has been run by the current director, Brandy Buckingham, since August 2009. We have a great team of regular volunteers that serve everytime the doors are open as well as several random church volunteers and youth who help from time to time.The governing decisions of the food pantry are decided by the Crockett Care Council, a board of directors elected to their positions by the Ministereal Alliance which consist of church pastors from within the county.
