Mission Statement:
The Cuero Cultural and Heritage Foundation will support, encourage and develop the arts and humanities, sciences and historic preservation in Cuero and South Texas.
Our History
The Cuero Heritage Foundation began in 1998 for educational purposes to support and promote the preservation, interpretation, and presentation of the history of Cuero and South Texas.
In 2001, the Board of Directors looked to broaden the scope of the Foundation in order to meet the needs of our diverse community. In October 2001, the Board voted unanimously to change the name of the foundation to the Cuero Cultural and Heritage Foundation and redefine the purpose to include the development of arts, humanities, sciences, and historic preservation in Cuero and South Texas.
The Cuero Cultural and Heritage Foundation is poised to make great leaps in the cultural and heritage programming in Cuero, Texas. The Directors are dedicated and vital to the community and will encourage and promote the appreciation of arts and humanities throughout the region.
