Cypress Bible Church
Remember that here at Cypress Bible Church, missions giving is totally separate from our regular budget. If you wish to give to our Missions efforts, designate the amount on your check or envelope.
Cypress Bible Church has a long history of missions involvement, particularly in the area of world missions. We are committed to spreading to gospel to the ends of the earth, and actively support (through many means) many individuals and organizations worldwide.

We hope that you will strongly consider joining with us in making Christ known throughout the world!
Our general purpose statement defines that "missions shall include (but not be limited to) activities such as evangelism, discipleship, church planting, theological training, Bible translation and meeting human needs," but the door is left open for the Lord's leading in this area. Although a variety of short term and career missionary efforts are supported through prayer, encouragement, labor, and giving, our emphasis is on working with missionaries who are beginning new churches in cross cultural settings where no evangelical outreaches currently exist. Cypress Bible Church supports over 45 missionary families worldwide (see the "Our Missionaries" link at right for more information), with an annual budget of approximately $350,000. Missions is the foreign service of Cypress Bible Church for world evangelism.
To make the entire Cypress Bible Church body aware of what God is doing throughout the world to reach all peoples with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and specifically what Cypress Bible Church's missionaries are doing in that process. As a result of this awareness, the congregation is encouraged to pray for the specific needs of our missionary families and the needs of their locations -- the unreached nations.
To encourage involvement in missions activities and service by individuals in Cypress Bible Church who either sense God's leading to be more involved or who have been identified by church leadership to be gifted for missions service. The avenues of involvement range from day long activities to short term trips to career service. The activities are geared to a wide range of church interest and age groups, from junior high on up. We are committed to encouraging those who "send," as well as mentoring those who "go."
