Naturally Grown Food!! We are a small family farm utilizing sustainable organic and biodynamic methods. We raise grass finished beef, sheep, poultry and gardens from the soil up! The farm is located 5 miles northeast of Prineville just 2 miles off Hwy 26.
Who are we? Since 2002, Jerre Kosta and Sean Dodson have been growing vegetables (mostly from organic and heritage seed) and raising rare Irish Dexter Cattle, 6-horned Jacob Sheep, Icelandic Horses, Lavender Guinea Fowl, Heritage Turkeys, Indian Runner Ducks and a variety of Heritage Chickens. Believing that healthy foods begin with healthy soils they practice rotational grazing and planting. Their organiccompost comes from the farm.
By purchasing a CSA share, you become part of our farm. The money from your membership helps to purchase the seeds and supplies and supports the farm during the growing season. As a member, you will receive a bag of farm fresh groceries every week. Occasinonally, you'll also find herbs, eggs and flowers. The contents of your bag will vary every week according to what is ready to be harvested. You can choose to pick up your bag at the farm, at a location in the center of downtown Prineville, southside of Redmond or central Bend. New pickup areas maybe added this season. In October if Mother Nature is good to us we will offer an extended CSA.
