The following are the purposes for which this community-based club has been organized:

1. To contribute to the civic improvement of the DeLand and West Volusia area by promoting the welfare of adults and children needing assistance, specifically, but not limited to Scholarships for West Volusia women, contributions to The Neighborhood Center, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Domestic Abuse Council.

2. To have a minimum of one fundraiser per year, including the annual Wine Festival for scholarships for West Volusia women, within the scope of the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code 1or any change from said code made in the future.

3. To provide a social outlet for all the women of the organization.

Membership is open to all women whose presence shall not create prejudice or exclude discussion of any subject. Membership may be any woman, whether or not she is currently working or retired or a homemaker.
