Our Mission - to focus on community as we
-equip every member to be a person who impacts the market place and their neighborhood as a light being one who shows integrity and authenticity in their personal life and their relationships.
-strengthen families: So that people may enjoy the blessings of intimacy and so that they may give hope and encouragement to other families
-provide support groups: For individuals and families in crisis so that they may experience the Lord’s healing and restoration.
-equip mature followers to lead small groups in a more concerted effort to make disciples. (Home Groups, LEAD Groups, Coffee Talk Groups—for members of DSC)
-get ready for That Day and help others get ready for That Day. Encouraging people to live with an awesome and sobering Day in view, when we stand face to face with Jesus for the reward of affirmation, celebration and exhalation; to live with the thought that this life is a testing and investing time and what we do here does count for all eternity. We believe that God is preparing a people to be His eternal companions and partners and how we live here determines the depth of that companionship and partnership with Him forever.
-encourage mature disciple-making disciples. We equip each member for ministry by helping them discover their spiritual gifts, their unique God-design and His Kingdom purposes.
-equip, coach and encourage each believer to be a mature follower of Jesus—shining His light through personal integrity and relational integrity and using their homes as a lighthouse.
-create an atmosphere of trust in groups where people are heard and not fixed.
-wake up in each person God’s imparted awesome dream. (Through understanding their identity, gifts, community; through team work, group, commitment).
-partner with the parent(s) in the discipleship of their children.
-proclaim the Good News of Jesus, who is the answer to a restored and ongoing relationship with our heavenly Father, through our examples, our care, and our words.
-equip and lead men to become mature followers of Jesus where men are affirmed in their masculinity and walk in their biblical roles in the home and in the church.
-equip and encourage women to return to the biblical role and ministry of Titus 2.
