We believe that Dorena is:

      A successful graduate of Dorena Elementary will be able to:
          o Make informed, responsible choices leading to a healthy lifestyle.
          o Have empathy for others and value culture and opinions similar and different to their own.
          o Match appropriate behavior to different real-life situations becoming a productive and responsible member of society who is happy with a good self concept.
          o Read, write and communicate with good speed, accuracy, vocabulary and understanding.
          o Be curious, active life-long learner who appreciates literature and the arts.
          o Successfully use math, science, and computer technology in real-world situations.
          o Achieve and set goals for personal life, academics and career.
