Douglas County West Community High School offers a rigorous curriculum with multiple course offerings and a comprehensive activities program to give students a broad educational background to prepare them for further education and the world of work. We offer accelerated and advanced placement courses, dual-college credit courses, independent study college courses, on-line college courses, two world languages, enhanced vocational and fine arts programs, as well as expanded learning opportunities through the use of interactive technologies. A multi-faceted activities program includes competitive athletic programs, as well as several academic clubs and organizations and a variety of fine arts opportunities. Small class size allows the staff to develop individual rapport with students and parents to work collaboratively to ensure successful learning experiences for all students.
