Drake Community Library will be a community resource center striving to inform and empower every person in the community through responsive services, collections and programs.  DCL will be a place where people have open access to the power of information and the joy of reading, a crossroads for social interactions and the exchange of ideas and cultural enrichment.

About Us:

The Drake Community Library is the public library for Grinnell, Iowa. We opened in this location in November, 2009 after serving the Grinnell community a the Stewart Library building since 1901. The new library offers wonderful space for the community. There are meeting rooms, public computers, free wifi, lots and lots of comfy seating, a great teen space, a wonderful story room, large and small private study rooms, and our friendly helpful staff.
