DuPage Amateur Radio Club is a very active club for ham radio operators, serving all of DuPage County.  The club serves the community in emergency communications, including the Grove Express 5K, Darien Dash, and at Lurie Children’s Hospital during a 2024 cyberattack.  They host a location as part of National Field Day late in June each year, a free public demonstration of ham radios in operation. 

Members join in regular education on emergency communications and technical aspects of the hobby at regular meetings.

To newcomers, they offer testing for ham licenses.  To student and scouting groups, they offer presentations to introduce a variety of ways to participate.

The club has been part of the American Radio Relay League for over 75 years.
