The staff at Allen School believes that it is our responsibility to create a learning environment which will help children maximize their academic, social and personal skills and abilities.

Academically, we believe that all children are capable of learning and that we have a significant impact on developing the learning potential of each child. We accept that children have different learning styles and strengths and provide instruction which takes into account these differences. We have a strong commitment to children learning the basic skills, to the development of higher-level thinking skills, and to developing children's creative abilities.

Socially, we believe that all children must develop positive social behaviors including the ability to get along with others, self-discipline, and the ability to work as a contributing member of a group.

Personally, we believe a good self-concept is essential to being a successful person. We work to foster a positive self-concept in all children and make them self-motivated and lifelong learners.
