Prayer Meeting - Tuesday - 7:00 pm. MISSION STATEMENT: The mission of our church family, based on Rev. 14:6,7, is to share with others the love of Jesus and the example He set for us in His Word. How we live our lives is found in Eldorado's core values as follows: Proclaim-We proclaim Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God the Father as head and center of the Eldorado church family experience. Eph.2:19-22. Prayer-We will make prayer the groundwork for every decision. James 1:5,6; John 15:5. Love-We will love God and our fellow man more than ourselves. Luke 10:27; Phil. 2:5-7. Compassion-We will place compassion for people above our own comfort without compromising Biblical truth and pure doctrine. Phil. 2:4. Sabbath Rest-We choose to honor God as our Creator and Lord by keeping holy the Sabbath. Our love for Him draws us into a rest from the cares of this world and into the joy of worshiping Him. Exodus 20:8-11. Second Coming-As our name implies, we believe in the soon return of Jesus Christ.John 14:1-3;1 Thess. 4:16-17. Worship--We will provide a sacred Sabbath worship service that is based on biblical principles and is relevant and sensitive in the lives of unchurched people. Isaiah 56:2-7. Unity--We will move forward as one body,the body of Christ. Recognizing, respecting and celebrating individual gifts. Ephesians. 4:1-6. Growing Disciples--We will provide opportunities for our children, new believers and members to know Jesus Christ personally and grow to be disciples of Jesus. Luke 18:15-17. Living Ministry--We will provide ministry opportunities, tools, training and encouragement to all members.Isaiah 58:6-12;Lk 10:25-37. Faithfully Give--We will be regular in worship attendance, giving our time, and sharing resources that will enlarge the kingdom of heaven. Luke 12:31-34;1 Chron. 16:29;Mal. 3:8-10. Community--We will deliberately and creatively be God's hands and feet in our community. Isaiah 61:1,3;58:1-4. Alive in Ministry--We will develop and maximize the gifts God has given each of us for ministry; never being comfortable sitting in a pew, uninvolved with people who are seeking to know God. Eph. 4:11; Matt. 25:41-46. Equip--We will give our best, as Christ empowers us, to all who come to Eldorado for training. Mark 4:33-34; Matt. 28:18-20. Planting--We will be a people involved with planting and growing churches as God leads. Joshua 3:4; 1 Cor. 3:6. Family--We will choose God as the center of our families, growing into eternity together. Phil. 3:14. VISION STATEMENT: "Serving God's children one person at a time by living and giving God's love."
