The Elizabeth Stampede Royalty will represent the Elizabeth Stampede Organization and Rodeo, the PRCA, and the sport of Rodeo to the best of our ability. Our goal is to participate in as many statewide functions, and engage with the Elizabeth Stampede committees wherever possible to promote the rodeo and increase attendance.

We proudly carry the title of Elizabeth Stampede Royalty with pride and confidence at all times and understand that we are the main spokesperson connecting the fans with the Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo.

The Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo is very proud to have been chosen as the #1 Small Market Rodeo in the PRCA’s Mountain States Circuit the past 7 years and we look forward to continuing to deliver the top rodeo in 2006 again! I am honored to have been chosen the Chairman of the PRCA Committee for 2006 and look forward to working with the Stampede Board of Directors, the Elizabeth Parks and Rec. Department, the Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce, Elbert County, the committee chairs and all the volunteers to deliver the best rodeo we can.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Elizabeth Stampede and if you are visiting our site for the first time and are interested in volunteering please use the contact information on the home page. It takes well over a hundred volunteers to put this two week long event on and we are always looking for new volunteers to involve. If you are new to the area it’s a great way to create a whole new network of friends and business associates.

This will be our third year hosting the “Town & Country Foods Radical Bulls” competition on Friday June 2nd. Town & Country Foods is the marquee sponsor of the Elizabeth Stampede and they have stepped up again in 2006 with the sponsorship of this special event. This bull riding only event features thirty-five bull-riders taking their chances on the championship stock from Burns Rodeo Company of Laramie, Wyoming. Burns Rodeo has many of the top National Finals Rodeo bulls in the country and they will be bringing these top bovine athletes to Elizabeth!! The thirty-five bull riders will not only be competing for the largest purse we’ve every offered in 24 years of our rodeo, they will also be performing in front of a sold out arena with 2,500 crazed bull riding fans. To top it off, the top 8 bull riders that night will ride one more bull for a shot at $5,000 in “Radical Bulls” prize money to be awarded to the top 3 finishers! Whether you are a Bull Rider or just a Bull Ridding Fan.
