We believe that all students can achieve at high academic levels, act with sensitivity to all people, and participate in society as responsible and productive citizens.  The English High School prepares all students:

To succeed at a four year college, whether they choose college or some other postsecondary option

To understand the importance of race, class and culture in our society and work for social justice

To be contributing members of our diverse society and global economy

To understand the array of life options college makes available to them
