Mission Statement :

The faculty and staff of Estherwood Elementary School recognize that educators, as conscientious professionals, are obligated to provide learning experiences which are necessary to educate the whole child. We are committed to facilitate these learning experiences through planning, guidance, professional growth, and sharing of knowledge. We recognize the needs of our students. By providing the necessary intellectual, emotional, social, and physical activities, we play a major role in their development. Since we live in a rapidly advancing technological society, the school must provide the basis for continual learning. In addition to teaching the basic skills, we will provide our students with the necessary skills to become independent learners. These would include critical thinking, problem solving, research and communicative skills.

Through a combined effort of teachers, parents, administrators, and students, an understanding and appreciation of our American heritage and culture is fostered. These efforts are necessary to create and encourage an awareness in each child to become an integral part of our society.
