Mission:

The Educational mission of Evans City's Schools is the holistic development of each student by using a variety of current teaching strategies. The expectation is that every student will attain the self-discipline, social, creative, and intellectual growth needed to succeed in today's world and the future.


We are approximately 550 kindergarten through fourth grade students who attend Evans City Elementary School. There are about five to six classrooms for each grade level, as well as, various special education, art, music, physical education, library, technology, speech, hearing impaired, guidance, and instructional support facilities. Evans City Elementary is actually "a school within a school." In other words, we share our building with Evans City Middle School. This creates for wonderful learning opportunities, as we can share in many collaborative educational activities and projects with the middle school students and faculty.
