The Family-Centered Institute, Inc. is a non-profit research and education organization serving governmental agencies and other non-profit organizations. Presently, FCII is raising money to fund a one-year demonstration pilot of a unique and innovative program called "Cape Cod TRIP." "Cape Cod TRIP," when implemented, will serve older Cape Codders (age 60+) as a viable senior transportation option. Program volunteers will assist seniors/elders to utilize volunteer drivers -providing transportation that allows older adults to ride in safety, comfort and with dignity. Program uses community donation $'s to help seniors defer volunteer driver's gas/oil expenses at no cost to the rider.

Alice E. Smith, MSW, Ph.D., LICSW 

Dr. Smith is an experienced researcher, teacher, and social practitioner. She holds degrees in social policy and planning, counseling psychology, social work, and education. Her expertise can provide a wealth of new vision and knowledge to your organization. 

Research Consultants

Our research consultants bring technical, engineering, and statistical analysis training and expertise to our Survey Research Section. Their experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing dozens of healthcare and human services needs assessment surveys provide the technical foundationof our survey research activities.
