Firm Foundation of Virginia, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit faith based organization here in the community to serve single mothers (18-35 years of age) and their children in the cities of Portsmouth and Hampton, Virginia who are facing homelessness, proverity or crisis.

Our mission is to ESTABLISH single mothers as CHANGE AGENTS in their lives and the lives of their children by INVESTING in them SOCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY, SPIRITUALLY and FINANCIALLY.

We provide housing, case management, career planning, financial education, spiritual development, parenting education, life skills, mentoring, heath and nutrition and after-care services.
