As the congregation of First Assembly of God, we are committed to providing the following:

Anointed preaching of the gospel to win the lost as well as encourage the believer.

Biblical teaching for all ages and encouragement toward maturity in each individual Christian life.

The congregation of Wood River First Assembly of God declares that this church

- Will retain its Pentecostal distinctives both in belief and practice in accordance with the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

- Will maintain integrity in its administration, its ministries and its relationships.

- Will present a ministry that is culturally relevant while remaining biblically based and doctrinally pure.

- Will obediently focus on the Great Commission through participation in foreign and domestic missions as well as in local evangelism efforts.

- Will continue to provide educational opportunities for both Biblical training and personal development.

- Will continue to provide individuals with opportunities for practical experience to develop both full time and lay ministries.

- Will be a multi-generational church, dedicated to meeting the needs of all individuals.

- Will support the Godly institution of the family.

- Will schedule regular services that include a healthy balance of worship and biblical preaching culminating in life-changing times of prayer at the altar.

- Will expect of both leaders and members stewardship of time, money and talent.
