History: The First Baptist Church of Garden City was organized on June 21, 1896 with eight charter members. Five joined by Baptism that day. The Rev. Nathan Davis Bullock was called as their first Pastor. The first building was erected in 1902 and was used until 1939. On December 31, 1939, the current building was built and paid for by donations. As the 106-year-old church has stood in three centuries and seen many changes, the primary calling of its mission has not changed. This is to bring the message of Hope and Salvation to the World.
