Mission:
The mission of First Baptist Church, Lamar as ministers of Christ is to worship God, disciple the believer, and reach the nonbeliever as we grow together through fellowship and service.

Purpose:
The purpose of First Baptist Church, Lamar through the leadership of the Holy Spirit is to reach upward through worship, inward through discipleship, and outward through evangelism, as we seek to minister and fellowship with one another.
