Our Purpose

"To KNOW Him and to make Him KNOWN 

to the Ends of the Earth."

• To KNOW Him: Speaks of an experiential knowledge that is gained in a life journey with God. It communicates, trust, relationship, and dependence.

This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. (John 17:3, NASB)

• To make Him KNOWN: Speaks of our mandate/commission to proclaim God’s Story in such a way that others can see and respond to God for who He is.

I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. (John 17:6, NIV)

• To the Ends of the Earth: Speaks to the Mandate/Commission to proclaim God’s Story…everywhere. It is not acceptable to have only a Talladega or North American ministry. Our ministry must simultaneously engage people in our immediate area; in the regions around us  where some cultural barriers may exist, such as geography, race, cultural bias, etc; and to the Ends of the Earth  …those places in the world that are completely cross-cultural.
