Mission

The mission of the First Presbyterian Church of Honeoye Falls is to worship God with praise and thanksgiving, to teach the Word and to follow Jesus Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit, using all that we have and all that we are. We are created by God, saved by Jesus Christ and led by the Holy Spirit to serve in this place, at this time.

With God’s grace we will continue to be a growing, connected, vibrant church family. The closeness between people and pastor makes it easy to share faith and to communicate with one another. Inspirational preaching and uplifting music during worship strengthen faith and renew our spirit. Exciting, innovative Christian Education programs, led by dedicated laity, provide learning opportunities for all ages. A growing interest in hands-on involvement in our community and beyond, enhances an already strong mission program. Pledging to love, nurture and care for those in need is a priority.

It is our hope to involve more members in carrying out the work of the church. Our Christian Education program would benefit from more participation by adults. We would encourage all church members to make a special effort to make visitors and newcomers feel welcome.

Our church family uses its collective talents to do God’s work. We celebrate the legacy of our 172 year heritage and knowing that we are stewards of God’s bounty, pledge to provide for the future. Thanks be to God.
