Mission Statement

We, the congregation of the First Presbyterian Church, Newport, Oregon share a Vision where individuals and families grow in spirit and their relationship with God, a place where we learn to better serve God’s whole community. In love and obedience to God, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, our mission is to:

- Reach past ourselves to those whom God has placed around us

- Draw them into the adventure of the Christian faith

- Learn together to follow Jesus with joyful devotion, and

- Go out as changed people transforming our world for our Triune God
