We are a small community church located in the middle of the booming matropolis that is Holland, TX. Holland is located about 15 miles south of Temple, TX and has a population of just over 1,100 residents. Small as it may be Holland is the Population Center of Texas being at nearly equal distnaces from Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
We have an average attendance each Sunday of around 40 people. The service is led by our pastor Rev. Philip Shuler who really knows how to bring a message. Music is provided by pianist Kristen Zajicek and guitar and vocalist Brian Smith. We are so blessed to have this kind of talent in such a small church. A children's message is usually provided by Judy Gotcher, Mike Urbantke or Lay Leader Larry Norville (either way you cant go wrong with these faithful servants of the Lord). If you would like to dive deeper into the message and the word the adult Sunday School class meets after the service and is lead by Lay Leader Larry Norville. We also have a bible study that meets Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM to help feed your spirit and guide you during the week. On the last Sunday of each month we like to have a fellowship breakfast where everyone brings their favorite breakfast dish and meets in the Petrie fellowship hall 30 minutes before church. This is just a chance for us to enjoy each other's company and to help us to connect and to grow as a chruch family.
