An Affinity For Funk:
If you’re reading this then you probably already have an affinity for funk. We love funk music & have for a very long time. The return of Funk in the festival scene has brought about a revival for the passion and joy of live shows. Funk music is the embodied essence of a great live show.

All the components are there; first & foremost outstanding musicianship, a kickass drummer driving the bus, backed up by phat bass that is bumping in the mix, a horn section blasting its way into your funky soul while keys, organs, moogs, & clavinets all chill your spine. Jazzy guitar liquefies your hips only to be topped by the most soul-stirring vocalists (both male & female) bringing you to aural ecstasy!

The great thing about funk music, especially live funk, is it brings together all types of people, young & old, hippie & hipster, singles & families. We want to bring that spirit of community & good music together in the beautiful Feather River Canyon to celebrate joy & unity through funk music. It is our deepest hope that the memories created will be cherished by you, your friends, the bands, & the venue.
