In order for our church body to achieve all that our philosophy of ministry, mission statement, and goals specify, we set some specific objectives to be achieved on a regular basis in addition to our objective of securing additional facilities.

We must have a viable and Active Growth Group Ministry as the basis of our church Growth. While churches may have grown in the past without this type of ministry, it is evident from church growth research that significant growth today must come through small groups that are ministering to one another on a regular basis.

We are in the business of creating "fishing ponds" where the leaders of our body can go fishing. These "fishing ponds" are the church services, evangelistic meetings, and special events which provide the "fish" in the form of visitors. These "fish" need to be "hooked" by the members of our body reaching out to them.

Our Worship Celebration time on Sunday morning must be the central part of the church. It is a time which calls all of us into participation in giving glory to Jesus Christ.

In order for the members of our body to be prepared for reaching out, it is necessary to have an equipping ministry. Every participant needs to go through our program of leadership training.

If we are to reach the unchurched of Scott Valley, then we must have facilities that are visible, attractive, accessible, and expansible.
