About Friends of Banshee Reeks:

The Friends of Banshee Reeks (FOBR), is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created to support BRNP.  Our Vision is for Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve to be the regional destination for inspiring the appreciation of nature.

FOBR's Mission is to ensure the future of the BRNP as the region's premier nature preserve by: (1) creating an informed and engaged base of members, volunteers, and public supporters; and, (2) harnessing financial and non-financial resources to invest in BRNP's future, including its cultural resources.

So, what does this really mean?  We help coordinate volunteers to staff the Visitors Center and help with the many tasks needed by BRNP management to maintain the Preserve; provide funding for special projects; sponsor educational programs; provide outreach and advocacy for support of BRNP.
