The Mark "Flash " Friedman aka Friends of "Flash" memorial fund was set up in honor of Mark Friedman who passed away on March 7 2007.

Mark was a pillar in the community for many years and the founder of the 4th of July fireworks show in 1975.

 He was also the chief of the fire department when it was strictly a volunteer organization. He worked to set up the fire district and to have our taxes pay for what it is today!

In his memory Istarted this non-profit organization to help the people in this community. Our goal is to team up with the Over the Rainbow school and sponsor children who are in need of assistance.

The school is a non-profit organization for children pre-k programs  Their goals match a similar thread of what I am sure Mark would be proud to sponsor.
