Furgeson Elementary School is committed to excellence in education for all students. Student's needs are met through a rigorous curriculum, quality instruction, and a well-articulated Bilingual-Diverse Language program that ensures intellectual growth.
Furgeson Elementary School, located in the city of Hawaiian Gardens, serves 630 students in grades kindergarten to six on a traditional calendar system. Furgeson Elementary School is dedicated to ensuring the academic success of every student and providing a safe and comprehensive educational experience.
The Furgeson Elementary School staff is dedicated to the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of all our students. Parent involvement is encouraged by all staff members. The holistic education of the child is a cooperative effort between the school, the home, and the greater community and includes the conviction that all students can learn and become successful and responsible members of society.
The Furgeson faculty and staff, with strong and supportive leadership, provides a positive, caring and nurturing environment which allows all students to reach their highest potential. Our mission will be realized by implementing our school plan, and by incorporating State and District goals and objectives thus preparing our students to be responsible, productive and successful adults.
