We’re “Building Better Health”

Gibson Area Hospital Foundation was established in 1999 to receive charitable gifts on behalf of Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services. Through your gifts, and the work of the Foundation, GAHHS will “build better health” in many ways.

The Foundation is incorporated as an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and is approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization, making your contributions tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

"To ensure that Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services has the charitable and community resources to create excellence in health care programs and services, in support of a healthy community.”

Since 1998, the entire organization (including hospital, long-term care center, home health care, rural medical clinics, etc.) has been known as Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services. Our service area includes 35 towns with more than 23,500 households. Affiliated rural medical clinics are located in 5 different communities.
