Mission:

The mission of the Gilford Community Church is to be a community of faith united in exploring what it means to follow the way of Jesus Christ, to be a people of God and to love and care for our neighbors. As a church we will know no circles of exclusion and no loyalties above those which we owe to God.
"Tell me about your church." Lots of people ask that question. "Tell me about your church."
Perhaps it is easiest to answer that question by explaining what we aren't. We aren't a perfect church. We don't have everything figured out, either. The Gilford Community Church is, however, a wonderful faith community. It is a safe place where you can ask life's important questions. We are a church filled with believers and doubters, seekers and skeptics, young and old. What we share in common is our commitment to the spiritual journey, to supporting each other, and to being engaged in the public life of Gilford, the Lakes Region and beyond. We believe we can make a difference in our world.

Vision:

Established in 1798, the vision of the Gilford Community Church has been evolving for over 200 years. Our church provides its congregation an ecumenical and inclusive setting for worship, growth, and enrichment. We have built and enjoy a reputation in the community for openness, nurturing and outreach.
