We are a Bible and Christ-centered church. Our worship service is semi-traditional and semi-contemporary. We observe the Lord's Supper each week and baptize by immersion.

Gleneden Beach Christian Church began when a small group of people met for some time in the Community Hall. Feeling a need for a structure of their own, they purchased the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Cary in February, 1951. Cary, who founded Gleneden Beach, built the house from lumber salvaged from a ship wrecked at Boiler Bay. The old Cary house has served well through the years -- first as the sanctuary and fellowship/kitchen area. In 1992 a new sanctuary that more than tripled the seating was begun and was completed in 1993. The old building now serves as the pastors office, meeting room and fellowship hall / kitchen.
