About Us 

High up in the Austrian Alps there is an old church, which still functions without the modern convenience of electricity.  The light needed for worship is provided by candles, which are placed in stands at the end of each pew.  On Sunday mornings, every family brings a lit candle with them, and places it in their pew stand.  The sanctuary brightens as each member of the Body of Christ arrives, until the entire sanctuary is bathed in soft candlelight.  When someone is missing, a shadow attests to their absence.

At Grace, every member brings light to God's house as we worship, fellowship and serve our Lord.  Each member reflects the light of God's love which has been poured out upon us.  May God give us power to let the light of Christ shine through us each day, here in this place we call Grace Lutheran Church.
