Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Grand Island Education Foundation is to enhance the future of children and the community through its support of the Grand Island Public Schools by seeking and securing resources for scholarships, projects, and programs.

The foundation provides a vehicle for people to make tax-deductible gifts to support the Grand Island Public Schools for projects such as scholarships, teacher recognition, student recognition, and renovation of the Grand Island Senior High planetarium.

The foundation affirms and promotes the importance and assurance of better education within the Grand Island Public Schools.

The Grand Island Education Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization that neither uses or replaces the school district's regular sources of tax revenue.
