Mission:

The mission is to provide a supportive middle level environment committed to student achievement. Essential to the success of the middle school is the commitment to the philosophy and goals by students, parents, and teachers.
To provide an environment where the child, not the program, is the most important. To provide for a transitional period between the elementary school and the high school while recognizing the physical, emotional, social, and academic needs of individual students. To promote programs which emphasize a continuation and enrichment of the basic academic school introduced in the elementary grades. To provide opportunities for success, which will foster a favorable attitude toward school and learning. To provide diverse curriculum with active involvement by students in the academic, creative, and exploratory areas. To provide an environment which fosters positive attitudes about self and social responsibility. To provide a climate of guidance based upon student-teacher relationships to promote a secure and supportive environment for the student.
