About
Greater Arlington Lions have been around for over 50 years! In the past decade we have given over $25,000 in scholarsips, over $6,000 to both Mission Arlington and Arlington Charities, helped provide over 2,400 AISD students with eye exams and glasses, given over $10,000 to AISD music and sports providing Arlington and its students with assistance.
Also, we recently co-sponsored a fundraising golf tournament with the local Masonic lodge on Monday May 8th. This is likely to become an annual event.
Come to a meeting and help us keep supporting Arlington and Arlington students! We meet on Thursdays evenings at 6:30pm at Angelo's Restaurant, 2590 Pioneer Parkway.
Mission Statement
To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.
Vision Statement
To be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.
Where There's a NEED, There's a LION
Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That's because we help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy.
The World's Largest Service Club Organization
Our 46,000 clubs and 1.4+ million members make us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet.
