About Us:
An exciting year for craft beer nation-wide, Green Bay enthusiastically joined this movement when it became home to twice the number of craft breweries than it had by 2014. Unable to deny the positive reception from the community, Green Bay showed its support of the craft beer industry and its economic benefits.
In light of all the excitement, the first ever collaborative beer effort by the four Green Bay breweries was introduced in October of 2014. This collaboration expressed the unique culture of the craft beer industry to Green Bay. This unique collaboration served as the perfect think tank for this effort, allowing Krystina Engebos, Heather Ludwig, and Andrew Fabry to further conceptualize this celebratory week.
As Wisconsin's third largest city, the trio felt inclined to take the ideas discussed by stakeholders at Green Bay's four breweries and turn those thoughts into a concrete realization. As the landscape of craft beer centric bars, restaurants, and stores continues to increase in the Green Bay Area it seemed only natural for the city to fall into a celebration that has proved successful in major cities throughout the United States.
