Groves Elementary
History
Groves Elementary was built in 1948 as a Junior High School. It served students from grades 7-9.
In the 1970's our school was changed from a Jr. High School to an elementary school.
Once again the people of PN-G have passed a bond issue. This one will eventually result in a brand new building for Groves Elementary. Though we too treasure the history that our old building holds, the cost to bring it to the standards needed to house the technology upgrades that we need are more than the cost of a whole new building. It is our hope that this new building can be built around our beautiful auditorium in order to preserve some piece of the history of the building and of Groves.
