Guardian Angels started back in 1979 in New York, due to the violent crime a man named Curtis Sliwa got his co workers together and they began patrolling the subway trains. ...an they could keep up. That still holds true today. We can not keep up with the demand from citizens to start up in their communities but we are making every effort to be there. We remain a non profit volunteer group, and serve to deter violent crime. Over the years we have expanded our efforts to include Cyber Angels, junior angles, anti bullying classes, and teaching woman self defense. We have chapters all over the United States and in Canada, Peru, London, Israel, Mexico, Japan, Philippines, Italy and many more. See More
