Habitat for Humanity of La Plata County is an ecumenical Christian organization dedicated to addressing affordable housing in La Plata County. We work in partnership with businesses, civic organizations, the faith community, schools, government entities and individuals like you!
Through the use of volunteers and the "sweat equity" of our partner families, we build simple, decent homes with 0% interest mortgages. Since we are also the lender for the homeowner-to-be, our need is to continue our capacity to build homes by replenishing our cash supply!

We serve families earning between 30% and 50% of the median income and we've built 21 homes to date from our beginning in 1994. We will begin building again this May and need volunteers
