About Us:
Hamburg Lions are regular people, just like you. They are men and women who have decided to make things better by getting involved in their community.
The Hamburg Lions held their first meeting in December 1970. In the months that followed that first meeting, the Hamburg Lions Club grew to nearly 40 members, and still boasts 42 members today. Since our inception, over 30 years ago, over 150 people have served as Hamburg Lions, working diligently to improve our communitiy’s health and welfare.
As good as our community service projects are, the most significant service we provide to our community comes through our cooperation with other Lions Clubs. We work to improve our community’s health by working to eliminate all cases of preventable blindness and by working to find a cure for juvenile diabetes, lyme disease, deafness, and several other sensory ailments.
