The Hay House Farm is a multi-faceted operation, including the farm, art studio, stupa, and tours. From the farm, we sell cut flowers, vegetables, eggs and jam. Owner David Brown is a well known portrait and landscape painter and his studio is located on the farm. In addition, the farm is the site of a stupa, a Buddhist shrine of peace and good intention. The Hay House gets its name from the straw bale construction in both the house and barn. The farm is "off the grid" and operates according to ecologically sound principles. David Brown offers tours for individuals and groups by arrangement.
The staff is often in the fields and has limited access to computers. Please call 860-575-2387 when you want to learn about the art studio, stupa, portraits, weddings, tours, seasonal flowers, vegetables, and eggs.
