Everyone with a hearing loss (or knows someone who has) is encouraged to attend this evening.
Meetings are held the third Wednesday afternoon each month. Many topics will be covered, such as: "How do I know I have a hearing loss?"; Checklist for buying a hearing aid; How to read an audiogram; What kind of assistive technology is out there to help me; Accessible entertainment including captioned movies and captioned live theatre; Continuous group support discussion about ways to cope in everyday life and remaining in the mainstream hearing world.
We invite you to come with questions and ideas and to bring your hearing friend, spouse or colleague. Hearing loss is a family and workplace issue. There are many people in the Culver City and West LA area who have a hearing loss and could greatly benefit from a local chapter.
